Gramps with Uncle Bobby and me when we were little and cute. Gramps was always so proud of his offspring, unusual in a man from his generation. I remember when I was in grade 1, Dad was the only father who took time off work to come to Meet the Teacher Day at school. I was the only kid who yelled out," Hi Mom, hi Dad!" I was so excited. I never did figure out how the other kids could be so calm. |

| This is Gramma Harris, me, Brown and Gramps cutting through the brush for some reason. It looks like Gramma had her ever-present cigarette in her hand. She did love smoking. | ![]() |

These two beauteous babes are Gram and Auntie Karen. They were dressed for bear, note the stylish eyeglass frames and Gram posing in her gum boots. I think Auntie Karen would be in her early 20's here, and Gram in her late 20's. I'm not sure where this was taken, but somewhere in Smithers. |

| Gramma and Grampa Elmore in their younger days. Somehow, they just never changed. Gramma's hair was black still when she died at 80. Gramps always had a receding hairline. | ![]() |
